Urological Cancers

Services

Cancer can develop in many urological organs. A urologist typically plays a central role in the diagnosis and the management of these diseases.

The commonest urological malignancies are prostate, kidney and bladder cancers.

Fortunately, with early diagnosis and treatment, most patients can achieve good long-term outcomes with robotic, laparoscopic (keyhole) or endoscopic surgery.

In addition to advancements in surgical techniques, the modern urological cancer care also revolves around the concept of multidisciplinary approach, which involve care from colleagues from oncology (medical and radiation), radiology and pathology.

Dr Mark Liu has received dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in cancer management, complex and minimally invasive cancer surgery at world-classed facilities in both the UK and the USA.
